HUD's 2014 Appropriation Act requires that all Public Housing Agencies establish Flat Rents at no less than 80 percent of HUD's Fair Market Rent for the Public Housing Agencies jurisdiction by June 1, 2014.  The Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem posted proposed Flat Rent changes on April 8, 2014 for comments.  The proposed Flat Rent changes are scheduled to be effective as of June 1, 2014. Proposed Flat Rents (21kb).

The Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem is in the process of updating the 2014 Annual PHA Plan.  The process includes receiving input from all the Authority's internal departments, the Resident Advisory Board, the Board of Commissioners and the public at large.  The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th, at 5:30 p.m. at the corporate offices of the Authority.  Proposed 2014 Annual PHA Plan (35.3 Mb).
