HAWS Welcomes Newest Board Member

HAWS welcomes Mrs. Theldora Williams as our newest member of the Board of Commissioners. Mrs. Williams grew up in the Bethania community of Winston-Salem. She graduated with honors from North Forsyth High School. Theldora is the mother of 14 year old, Bennie L. Williams, III.

Theldora owns, with her husband, Mr. Bennie L. Williams, Jr., TES Engraving & Sign Company. The company is ten years old and has won regional and national awards for outstanding service by corporate clients BB&T, Blue Cross BlueShield and the Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council.

Mrs. Williams’ desire to go away to college led her to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus where she obtained Bachelor’s of Arts degree. Theldora is listed in Who's Who Among College and University Students, and Outstanding Young Women of America. A passion to serve her community is prevalent in her positions as Co-Chair for the 1985 Coliseum Bond Referendum, Co-Chair of the Winston-Salem Human Relations Commission (1985), The Minority/Women's Business Enterprise Committee, and Past Chairman of the Minority Enterprise Loan Program.

We are fortunate to have Mrs. Theldora Williams as a Board member.
