HAWS Welcomes Newest Board Member
HAWS
welcomes Mrs. Theldora Williams as our newest member of the Board of Commissioners.
Mrs. Williams grew up in the Bethania community of Winston-Salem. She graduated
with honors from North Forsyth High School. Theldora is the mother of 14 year
old, Bennie L. Williams, III.
Theldora owns, with her husband, Mr. Bennie L. Williams, Jr., TES Engraving & Sign
Company. The company is ten years old and has won regional and national awards
for outstanding service by corporate clients BB&T, Blue Cross BlueShield
and the Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council.
Mrs. Williams’ desire to go away to college led her to the University
of Tennessee, Knoxville campus where she obtained Bachelor’s of Arts
degree. Theldora is listed in Who's Who Among College and University Students,
and Outstanding Young Women of America. A passion to serve her community is
prevalent in her positions as Co-Chair for the 1985 Coliseum Bond Referendum,
Co-Chair of the Winston-Salem Human Relations Commission (1985), The Minority/Women's
Business Enterprise Committee, and Past Chairman of the Minority Enterprise
Loan Program.
We are fortunate to have Mrs. Theldora Williams as a Board member.
