New Board Member Appointed

We would like to formally welcome our newest member of our Board of Commissioners, Mr. Thomas R. Adams! Mr. Adams brings with him over 30 years of experience in the finance field. He joined Reynolds American in 1999. Effective January 1, 2008, he will be assuming the title of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Reynolds American, he was a partner at Deloitte & Touché LLP for 14 years.

He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Board of Directors for technology Concepts & Design, Inc. He is also a member of the North Carolina Association of CPA’s; the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the Old Hickory Council of the Boy Scouts of America. His financial expertise and voluntary dedication are welcomed qualities to our board.

Mr. Adams is enthusiastic about this new opportunity. He says, “I’m looking forward to working with the Housing Authority. I think they provide a contributable service to the local community and I want to be a part of it.”
