Facility

  • Installed tempered glass with sliding door to access tenant documents (Crystal); roped barrier (Sunrise); and relocated management office (Healy) to limit resident exposure
  • Designated location for resident packages to be retrieved
  • Installed hand sanitizer dispensers on all floors (awaiting refill insert at Crystal and Sunrise – all suppliers on backorder)
  • Contracted with third-party janitorial service to provide additional cleaning and disinfecting (Crystal and Sunrise)
  • Dedicated maintenance staff to undertake twice daily disinfecting of common surfaces
  • Implemented restrictions on unaccompanied visitor/guest access
  • Closed community rooms and computer lab

Communications

  • CDC guidance, as updated and amended, regarding handwashing, symptoms, social distancing and other best practices
  • Reminder notices in common areas regarding social distancing
  • Notice regarding restrictions on visitor/guest access
  • Weekly surveys to all residents inquiring into their need for assistance (medical, food, etc.)
  • On-site staff inquiring into resident well-being and needs
  • On-site staff reminding residents of social distancing obligation and enforcing adherence in lobbies and other common areas

  • No lease terminations issued for non-payment of rent (rent still collected in absence of declaration of hardship but failure to pay rent will not result in lease termination action)
  • Late fees waived
  • Annual housekeeping inspections suspended

  • Rent reductions processed with limited verification
