Housing Services Department
The Housing Services Department is divided into 3 sub-divisions: Property
Management, Section 8, and Inspections. The mission of this department as a whole
is to provide affordable, viable, quality housing and community supportive self-sufficiency
for all residents through collaboration of local agencies, thereby creating
sub-stainable neighborhoods and increase the quality of life for our residents.
The vision for staff includes compassionate and strict lease enforcement to
diminish negative public perception of Public Housing. The Housing Authority
will be creative and innovative in providing excellent customer service. Professional
staff development will be ongoing to provide the skills necessary to meet the
regulatory changes.
